About The Whisky
Based on the novel John Macnab, in which three well respected members of society challenge themselves to take a stag, a salmon and a brace of grouse within 48 hours. Heroes & Heretics have sourced a beautiful 15 year old Westport single cask to celebrate the tradition of the Macnab. For this special bottling we have partnered with William Evans, Cordings and Farlows.
Westport is not itself a distillery, but instead Glenmorangie combined with a teaspoon of another distillery – this is commonly referred to as a teaspoon malt.
Like the setting of the John Macnab novel, Glenmorangie is rooted firmly in the Highlands of Scotland.
